An invasive insect known as the Emerald Ash Borer has been found in southwestern New York State. It is now more imperative than ever that you DO NOT transport firewood into our out of your lease area. All firewood required by lessees must be marked by a Finch forester and cut on your lease property. If you are in need of marked firewood, please contact the Finch Woodlands Division at (518) 793-2541, extension 5526. To learn more about the Emerald Ash Borer infestation, please click here (PDF).
